Paul McConnell’s career in real estate development began in 1974 and extends from developing and owning apartments, industrial/office buildings and land development to sales, marketing and leasing of investment/suburban/center city projects. His development projects of the past 28 years total over 5 million square feet with a value of over $500 million. Prior to forming McConnell Development in 1989, Paul was a general partner at Emory Hill McConnell Associates. He directed the leasing, marketing, planning, acquisition and development of all new projects in Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland and Pennsylvania and participated in negotiations on over 200 leases and over 4 million square feet of leased space. Since forming McConnell Development, Paul has served clients such as Johnson Controls, MAB Paints, Amazon.com, AstroPower and MAC Direct. The projects total over 2 million square feet and over $100 million in value. In addition, McConnell Development, Inc. was developer on 1,000 residential lots for Ryan Homes, Ryland & Pulte Homes. Paul received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Delaware and is active in NAIOP. He is a licensed broker in the state of Delaware.
